Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is committed to furthering the healing ministry of Jesus by providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to the Phoenix community and beyond. St. Joseph's was founded in 1895 by the Sisters of Mercy, making it the most-established hospital in the Valley. St. Joseph's Foundation was founded in 1981, continuing the rich philanthropic tradition established by the Sisters of Mercy. The foundation raises funds to support patient care, education and research at St. Joseph's Hospital, ensuring all patients are offered the best medical services available, provided with kindness, compassion and respect.
