Mission
The Radiation Oncology Institute's (ROI) mission is to heighten the critical role of radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer through research and education. Cancer patients deserve high-quality, innovative radiation treatment that enhances their quality of life, and ultimately, saves more lives. That's why ROI drives research and education radiation oncology research and education. Founded in 2006 by the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), ROI is a 501(c)(3) charity that has funded more than $4 million in research to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
