Mission

Cancer Detection Canines.org is a 501(c)(3) non profit public benefit corporation founded in 2017 in St Helena, CA, to train, promote and utilize purebred Beagles as an early cancer detection screening tool available to the public, medical and research populations. We promote, train, and certify professional independent cancer detection canines and handlers, maintain our own Beagle acquisition program, participate in clinical trials, assist for public benefit those private, public, scientific, and volunteer individuals and organizations engaged in using dogs as an early cancer detection screening tool, conduct community educational demonstrations, and exchange practical, technical, and scientific information about the use of cancer detection canines.
