Mission

Maddie’s Promise provides funding targeted to rare, pediatric cancers. Maddie’s Promise was inspired by Maddie McCoy. Maddie was an 11-year old girl taken from us too soon. As she courageously fought a rare pediatric cancer, called rhabdomyosarcoma, Maddie wanted to help others. Maddie started a plan with friends and spent her last few months making crafts and artwork to sell. She wanted to help other children with cancer and the homeless she saw on her way to treatments. While Maddie was never able to sell her artwork, her friends and sisters were determined to follow through on the plan. Maddie’s Promise started in June 2019 with the first sale of artwork and other crafts.
