Mission
Service has been the hallmark of Lions Clubs International since it was founded in 1917. It is the world's largest service club organization with 1.4 million members in 205 countries and regions. Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) was begun in 1968 to take that service to new levels by tackling global problems as well as assisting Lions with large-scale local humanitarian projects. Our mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding.
