Mission

YWCA Princeton is on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We bring our mission programs to the Greater Mercer County region in the form of affordable childcare, early education and bilingual nursery school, as well as English Literacy programming for adults. Our Bramwell Education Center in Princeton and our Latinas Unidas/EmPOWER THROUGH Program in Trenton provide ESL Classes, Citizenship Classes, High School Equivalency Testing and Job Readiness. Our YW's Breast Cancer Resource Center helps women through their entire journey, from prevention, diagnosis and treatment to survivor-ship and continued education. Our Newcomers Club welcomes women from all over the world to model our dedication to women's leadership and inclusion. All we do, from dance and art to aquatics and robotics, is designed to keep our YW true to its purpose. Most importantly, the challenges we encounter along the way become opportunities for advocacy and change.
