Mission

The Graduate Center Foundation is committed to promoting and safe-guarding the success of the CUNY Graduate Center by raising funds and managing and investing donations for use by the Graduate Center. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation serve as advisors to the President of the Graduate Center. The board works to heighten the visibility of the Graduate Center and to raise awareness of the Graduate Center’s contribution to higher education and its cultural vitality in New York City. The Graduate Center is the principal doctorate-granting institution of the City University of New York, offering over 30 doctoral degrees and fostering globally significant research in a wide variety of centers and institutes.
