Mission
First Resource Center is a 501c3, our primary mission is to provide food to people in need in Anderson County, TX. We are the official "Feed America" pantry, partnering with East Texas Food Bank to serve on average 282 families per month in 2021. We also provide 115 "Sr Boxes" each month thru the Federal Program and sponsor/serve a monthly produce drop that averages 250 families each month. We also help those in need to pay for their utility bills thru a variety of arrangements with utility companies, churches and the Salvation Amry.
