Mission

With the relaunch of our organization in ‘2024, the mission of the Center for Jazz Arts remains framed by the devastating events of September 11, 2001, and is dedicated to promoting the timeless lessons of diversity, tolerance, and shared national heritage embodied in the history of American popular culture around the world. Established as a California 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in ‘2003, and in partnership with board members, advisors, researchers, celebrity partners, and community partners throughout the United States and Europe, our work continues to be made possible through the invaluable generosity of supporters like you.
