Mission

PAX Learning Center, a 501(c)3, provides free of charge teachers and tutors to youth and adults to support their educational goals. Since 2018, PAX has offered a custom-tailored curriculum to support meeting the requirements of the GED in reading, language arts, science, social studies, and math through tutoring and GED classes. Classes and tutors are implemented into already existing programs and locations to reduce barriers to access, including transportation and proximity. The core to their success is that they meet each student where they are at academically, socially and psychology, and customizes their tutoring approach based on the student’s needs and abilities creating an individualized experience that is more impactful than typical tutoring programs.
