Mission

Why does ROC exist? The Richland Outreach Center exists because organizationally, there are concentrated needs within the underserved populations of Richland County, Ohio. These needs revolve around a segment of families that are often cut out of activities or otherwise have barriers that keep them from participating in their community. ROC recognized that the gaps leading to less involvement are a sense of belonging and financial. The gaps created are based on oppressions within our community, such as a lack of inclusion and diversity in schools, workplace, and homes which leads to minimal growth over time. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and make a real difference in the community.
