Mission

The mission of The Latina Center is to improve the quality of life and health of the Latino community by providing leadership and personal development opportunities for all Latinas.

Established in 1999, The Latina Center provides transformative leadership development opportunities for Latina women and their families through educational, social support, and mentoring activities that contribute to individual and family stability and help alleviate the alienation and loss that immigrant Latinas often experience. Over the past 10 years, The Latina Center has become a place to find personal enhancement, increase self-confidence, acquire English-language skills, maintain cultural and familial ties, and advocate for improved programs and services. The Latina Center's clients report that the programs foster hope for creating positive futures for families.
