Mission

The HIMA•San Pablo Oncology Foundation is a non-profit organization that was created in June 2013 in response to the economic and social needs faced by people with cancer in Puerto Rico. Our efforts are aimed at improving the quality of life and medical care of people with cancer on the island. We conduct fundraising activities to provide assistance and support services to cancer patients receiving treatment in Puerto Rico. We offer financial assistance to low-income patients for payment of treatment-related expenses not covered by health plans (such as medications, prosthetics, medical equipment, accommodation, transportation). It is our desire to offer the tools to help cancer patients manage their condition.
