Mission
RMHCDC eases the hardship of children's illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. Our core programs include: two Ronald McDonald House® programs that provide temporary housing for families of seriously ill children being treated at area hospitals; and two Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® programs, in partnership with Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. These mobile units offer free healthcare in addition to fitness and nutrition education to under-served children in the DC area.
