Mission

The foundation's mission is to provide and fund door-to-door transportation to qualifying radiation therapy patients of Clear Springs Center for Cancer Care in Uvalde, Texas. The foundation has two vans and serves the surrounding counties of Dimmit, Edwards, Kinney, Maverick, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Val Verde, and Zavala. Since beginning operations in November 2011, over 278 patients have received transportation to their treatments. Each patient typically receives 30 radiation treatments delivered daily over six weeks. Our service is 100% donor supported and is crucial in helping patients that are unable to physically or financially drive to their life saving cancer treatments.
