It is the mission of the Saint Mary's Foundation to advance Mercy Health Saint Mary's through philanthropy and stewardship. Mercy Health Saint Mary's has provided care to the people of west Michigan and beyond. From our beginnings in 1893, when seven Sisters of Mercy came to Grand Rapids to open Saint Mary's Hospital, to the present, the commitment to our mission of excellent medical care delivered with compassion has not wavered.
