The Ida Lee Project & Polyclinique du Millenaire are supplying surgeries for life and death situations. For $150, a lifesaving surgery can be given to a woman in need! Breast and Cervical Cancers are epidemic in the DRC. ILP is now partnered with WHO DRC. Dr. Martin is preparing the pilot program for the introduction of the HPV vaccine into the Congo, DR! The Ida Lee Project endeavors to improve the quality of health care in DRC and bring more physicians to treat the women who come to the clinic. All services at the clinic are provided at no charge to the patient. We have treated children who have been raped, a common problem there. Just recently we paid for the surgery to save a 9 year old girl's life who fell out of a tree and was going to die. We answer the call whenever possible!
