Mission

Free Public Umbilical Cord Blood UCB Collection should be available for all children. Our Mission is dedicated to increasing public awareness & scientific education about the benefits of preserving UCB-Stem cells for the public good. Access to life-saving therapy, research and novel treatments using adult UCB stem cells should be available to all patients with blood cancers, anemias, immune or genetic disorders. Our Goal is to facilitate public cord blood banking collection for parents in the NYC metro area, Staten Island and the surrounding communities that do not currently have access to public CB. By providing all children an opportunity to bank their CB stem cells at birth, regardless of their parent(s) economic status, and by providing CB info to all parents we can save lives.
