Mission

Nathan Adam Norman was a stand out basketball player at Elizabethton High School in Elizabethton, TN. He is in their High School Hall of Fame. This scholarship fund provides two scholarships for $1000 each to a male and female student athlete each year. Nathan was also a college basketball player at USC Spartanburg in the early 90's and still holds the 3 pt record there (as of 2023 and it is now USC Upstate). Nathan dies suddenly just shy of his 32nd birthday of an aortic aneurysm leaving behind 3 young children and a widow. He was beloved by his family, friends, and anyone who knew him. He coached youth football, basketball, and soccer in Abingdon, VA where he and his family lived when he passed in 2007. His legacy lives on, this scholarship offers away to honor his life and memory.
