Mission

ButterfliesUSA Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt charity & US resource base for Butterflies, a registered NGO in Delhi India serving street youth since1989. Butterflies empowers street-connected children via education, emergency rescue, therapeutic care & restoration to families; democracy, leadership & financial training. It runs child cooperatives, a Children’s Development Bank, culinary/catering school, does research & child rights advocacy. Butterflies USA hosts webinars and events to promote a social casework approach to keep children with migrant families. Via appeals, crowdsourcing campaigns, proposals to public & private funders, Butterflies USA also raises funds sent directly to India for general operations and specific projects for ButterfliesNGO and its alliance partners.
