Mission
The Fund seeks to support research into the biological causes of bipolar disorder and other mental illness. We envision a world where a biological/genetic test can assist in a diagnosis for a specified mood disorder. This diagnosis would be treated with proven medication or other (e.g. gene therapy) type of care to provide relief to the patient. The Fund has supported research at Colombia University on an annual basis for over 2 decades.
