Mission
Founded in 1984, the Boston Education Fund (BEDF) is a K-12 education fund that serves as the fiscal sponsor 501c(3) and fundraising partner to the Boston Public Schools (BPS). BEDF facilitates access to philanthropic funding and administers these resources to sustain and expand educational opportunities for students, educators, and families. In the last 10 years alone, BEDF has administered over $110M in private external funding to support numerous educational initiatives and programs across BPS.
