Mission
PAMS organizes medical missions to Perú for the care of indigent patients, and strives to advance and improve medical education in Perú. Through its medical missions, PAMS serves rural communities with very limited healthcare, and collaborates with medical facilities to set up specialty units at Peruvian Hospitals (Cardiovascular Surgery, Renal Units, Intensive Care Units, Newborn Units, Burn Units). PAMS built a Clinic in Chincha, Peru following a devastating earthquake that destroyed the healthcare facilities in the area. The Chincha Polyclinic has a permanent staff that provides for the care of indigent patients, and medical missions are conducted five times a year.
